UV protection brim is thick enough, fans are lightweight so the hat never feels heavy on my head. I love that I don’t have to worry about charging cables or dead batteries mid-day. The only tiny issue is the solar panel is a little delicate if you fold the hat too roughly. As long as you handle it gently it works perfectly. Not bad for a handheld cooling fan 👍
I ran the fan at level 50 power at 85% charge with the cooling feature on. It reached 0% at around an hour and 45 minutes. So the charge is very good. It absolutely creates more cooler air than any ordinary portable fan. It's not blowing ice cold, of course. However, for such a small thing and with such a little coolplate, it's reasonable and certainly better than those mist fans. It's not noisy, it fits in a bag/purse/pants pocket or you can wear it on the lanyard it comes with. You can also bend it to set it on a desk aimed at you, which I found very nice. Overall, if you are in a hot place for a few hours, this is decent option.
